Material Research Society News reported about our results, including an opinion of an independent expert from the United States. They described our developed a simple two-step approach how to control size and purity of HPHT nanodiamonds down to 1 nm (in spite of some theoretical predictions that such diamonds would not be stable) from commercially available product. Characterization and visualization of such small nanodiamonds by Raman spectroscopy and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) provided important scientific data.
