Cooperation with University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia
Bilateral cooperation between Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic and the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics, Sydney, Australia takes place since 2012 within the
ASI 2-A014A Next Generation Crystalline Silicon on Glass Modules and the LNSM infrastructure projects. The cooperation follows up on the European Collaborative project FP7-Energy-2009-1 PolySiMode (Improved Polycrystalline-Silicon Modules on Glass Substrates).
On Australian side the activities are coordinated by Dr. Sergey Varlamov,Senior Research Fellow at Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics,University of NSW, Sydney, NSW 2052, Australia, on the Czech side by Dr. Antonín Fejfar, Institute of Physics AS CR Prague.
The cooperation has already led to joint publications, e.g. a paper On the effects of hydrogenation of thin film polycrystalline silicon: A key factor to improve heterojunction solar cells, published online in December 2013 at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0927024813006016.
