Ten years ago, the so-called solar barons ruined her reputation, the fields of blue panels in the fields instead of grain do not add to her popularity. However, photovoltaics itself is innocent. The general scientific community continues to see it as a promising alternative way to generate electricity. Among renewables, many are even predicting a great future for the sun. What could modern photovoltaics look like and what do researchers from the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic do? The shifting of boundaries in the energy sector is also supported by the AV21 Strategy - Efficient Energy Conversion and Storage program.
