In the year 2016 the President of the Academy of Sciences of the CR granted The Otto Wichterle Award based on the recommendations of the Jury for granting The Otto Wichterle Award to a LNSM scientist, Ing. Štěpán Stehlík, Ph.D. for his research on structure, electronic and optical properties of nanodiamond.
